Even though your starting base may be a quick, thrown-together area with everything you need, once you progress further, you can take the time to really get creative with your base build. Here are some great bases from other players on Reddit for some inspiration!
Best Palworld base builds from Reddit
Players share all kinds of unique Palworld content on Reddit, including a look at some of their creations. These base builds take some time and effort to develop and can give us some inspiration and tips on making our own bases. Here are some of the best we came across.
Walled Fortress
TheTrucce on Reddit shared the base they have been working on, and they are doing everything right! Their whole base is enclosed in a wall, fitted with a gate for entry and exit. Not only do they have great defenses to keep raids from getting inside, but they also restrict Pals from wandering too far off. Plus, they built their main structure out of stone, which is a must to avoid any detrimental fires.
Stone Village
Lightless_meow had a similar idea to The Trucce, circling their base in walls but taking a step by ensuring even the walls were made completely out of stone. They left enough room in the walls to lay out a bunch of different buildings in their village, giving each job its own room for storage and crafting structures. They noted on their build, set in coordinates (227, -20), that they don't even get raids, so it may be worth building somewhere similar ourselves!
Hilltop Courtyard
Reddit user Dsj417 built their base at the very top of a mountain, placing walls all along the cliff's edges to avoid any Pals falling off and placing floors down to ensure they still had flat surfaces. They will never have to worry about any Raids bothering them, and they have an amazing view. This can be a great idea as long as you turn off structure decay in your custom World Settings.
Multi-Level Stone Fortress
Sometimes, walls aren't as important as you might think, especially if you create a base like Bmfp123. This heavy-duty fortress is built entirely out of stone and has plenty of room in the base for everything you might need. They can fit storage and beds inside and house all their crafting structures and material farms on the upper exterior level. Raids could make it up to the base, but they will have a hard time getting through this mighty structure.
Waterfall Lodge
This beautiful base from North_Shore_Problem is set around the waterfall and against the hills in the back to avoid getting surrounded by Raids. This is probably one of the more popular build locations, not only cause it looks great, but it's pretty close to the starting location. Although it may not seem like the best spot to build in, they have enough flat space and multiple exits they can get to, including an awesome stairwell beside the waterfall. The only downside to this base is the fact that it's built of wood, vulnerable to fire raids, but that can easily be replaced with stone.
Waterfall Stone Warehouse
Similar to North_Shore_Problem, Short-Unviersity1645 didn't stray too far from the starting area, locating their base right at the top of the waterfall. However, they raised their base up further on the hill and built entirely out of stone, with high walls to keep up with trouble. Their main structure is multiple stories, and their outside yard has plenty of room for plantations and farms.
Ruins Base
Smart-Potential-7520 was very resourceful with its base build, working with an already-standing ruin and filling it in to create a functional base. Not only does it look cool, but it's not as small as it may seem. It has multiple stories inside for decor and storage; you could even add some walls and floors to expand it further. Plus, build some outer walls and house your outdoor farms and crafting.
Hillside Mansion
This is personally one of my very favorite base builds visually. User AlfredoTheImpasta built it nestled in a hill, almost appearing as if it was actually a part of the hillside, and it has multiple levels reaching all the way up to the top. They made it spacious enough to house all their Pals, even their larger ones, and they won't have to worry about Raids since it is so hidden away and built from stone. Obviously, it focuses more on luxury than accessibility, but still, it's a stunning design that definitely inspires.

Stone Castle
If you're looking to build something genuinely extravagant, take some tips from Reddit user EmeraldN777, who built an entire castle. Not only is this base large and well-defended, but it is also set on its own island, away from the mainland near the Ravine Entrance Fast Travel. And it has plenty of room for exterior farms, as well as anything you might need within the castle.
Cliff Base
This Cliff Base by Swegu runs on the same idea as AlfredoTheImpasta's base build, tucked within a cliff or hill. However, they have a few structural differences, featuring some outer towers on the front and some higher floors and platforms for exterior activities. Again, this is an excellent idea for a more defended base, built entirely out of stone, that will not be Raided very easily.
These are just a few great ideas from other players on Reddit, but use your creativity to combine ideas, come up with new ideas, and make the best base for your Pals. Happy building!
