How to make Pal Metal Ingots in Palworld

Pal Metal Ingots are used to craft the best armor and weapons in Palworld. I've been eying that Heat Resistant Pal Armor since day one, and it's finally time to get it. To make one Pal Metal Ingot, you need:

  • 2 x Paldium fragments
  • 4 x Ore

That doesn't sound too hard, especially if you can set up farms for these materials. Ore can be found in abundance in plenty of places like the Desolate Church (65, -418), where I set up my second base. Paldium fragments can be mined, but there is never a lot of it in nature.

Instead, it's better to set up a Crusher in your base, which will craft Paldium fragments from Stone. You can also farm Stone at the Desolate Church or in a Stone pit you set up in your base. Some of the best Pals for farming Ore and Stone are Blazamut, Digtoise, and Reptyro.

You can farm the materials for Pal Metal Ingots, but the more difficult part is actually setting up the Electric Furnace that can make them. It is quite a lengthy process.

First, to unlock the Electric Furnace, you need to be Technology level 44. Once you unlock it, you'll have to get:

  • 50 x Refined Ingot
  • 10 x Circuit Board
  • 20 x Polymer
  • 20 x Carbon Fiber

You'll notice that all of the materials on the list can't be found naturally in the wild; you need to craft them from other materials.

Let's start with Polymer first. To make one, you need two High Quality Pal Oil, which you can farm from Pals like Mammorest (-211,-687). The Circuit Board will also use up your Polymer, so you'll want to make extra. It also requires Pure Quartz, which you can find in the snowy areas of Astral Mountains at -35,94.

Carbon Fiber can be made in two ways, either from Coal or from Charcoal. I think Charcoal is the easier option, as you can make it from wood at the Furnace (which I should have remembered before wasting all of my Coal).

If you want to farm Coal instead, you can do so at 192,-37. You will also find Ore at this location, which you need to make Refined Ingot.

When you have all of the materials collected, set up your Electric Furnace near a Generator and put an Electric Pal as well as a Kindling Pal to work. The best Electric Pal for generating energy are Orzerk and Grizzbolt. The best Kindling Pals are Jormuntide Ignis, Suzaku and Blazamut.
