How to get Eikthyrdeer Terra in Palworld – Catch Location & Breeding

A dashing steed!

Some Pals are extremely helpful for exploring around the island, especially the Pals you can ride. The Eikthyrdeer Terra Pals, in particular, provides speed and a double jump while riding. Here's how to get one!

The Eikthyrdeer Terra is a Ground Type Pal, similar to the normal Eikthyrdeer but much more elegant looking. You can find some at the circular island off the southern coast of the main islands. This a level 20+ area, so be wary as a starting player. You will also need to swim across some water to get there. I used a Pal to help me swim across without running out of Stamina.

How to catch an Eikthyrdeer Terra in Palworld

The Eikthyrdeer Terra can be caught just like the normal Eikthyrdeer, but they are a slightly higher level, so you'll need some higher power Spheres. The only challenging part of catching them is how fast they are. If they get spooked, they will run away from you, making things more difficult. Use a mount to make it easier to catch up to them. Bring Grass Pals along for a boost on damage before attempting to capture it in your Sphere.

How to breed an Eikthyrdeer Terra in Palworld

Another way to get an Eikthyrdeer Terra is to breed one and hatch it from an egg. You can do this with a Breeding Farm and an Egg Incubator. You'll need to breed an Eikthydeer and a Hangyu (one male and one female) together to make a Large Rocky Egg. Here's how to make the items you need:

  • Breeding Farm (Technology 19)
    • Wood x100
    • Stone x20
    • Fiber x50
  • Egg Incubator (Ancient Technology 7)
    • Paladium Fragment x10
    • Cloth x5
    • Stone x30
    • Ancient Civilization Parts x2

Place the Eikthydeer and Hangyu in the Breeding Farm with a chest containing a Cake inside it near the outside. Eventually, they will drop the Large Rocky Egg that you can place into the Incubator. Speed up the Incubator process by placing a heat source, like a campfire, beside it. It will soon hatch into the Eikthydeer Terra!

All Eikthydeer Terra Skills in Palworld

The Eikthydeer Terra has many of the same qualities as the normal Eikthydeer. It is capable of working in lumber, farming wood for you, or can be used as a companion with various Ground Type abilities. I find them most useful as mounts since they are very fast and can double jump while you are riding them. However, you'll need to make a saddle to start riding them.

Work Skills

  • Lumbering - Level 2

Drops

  • Eikthyrdeer Venison
  • Leather
  • Horn

Although you can more easily acquire a normal Eikthydeer, it's still worth adding this variant to your collection, if nothing else than just how pretty they look covered in gold.
