Wixen is one of the most helpful base pals you'll need due to its high Handiwork, decent Kindling, and Transporting. If you want one for your base, keep reading as I explain how to get Wixen in Palworld, its map location, and how to breed one.
How to get Wixen from Breeding in Palworld
Wixen is among the easiest and earliest Pals you can get through breeding in Palworld. To get a Wixen through breeding, you need either of these combinations:
- Lamball and Celaray
- Cattiva and Celaray
- Cremis and Celeray
- Vixy and Celaray
- Lifmunk and Alpaca
- Foxparks and Caprity
- Foxparks and Eikthyrdeer
The best Pals for breeding a Wixen are Foxparks and Eikthyrdeer. From my experience of consistently traveling back and forth from the Grassy Behemoth Hills (172, -473) to the Rayne Syndicate Tower Entrance (120, -426), these two pals usually spawn within the route and you can easily nab either of them at an early level. Additionally, this route is one of the best in the early game for farming Flame Organs.
Once you have both pals, make sure to put a cake in the Breeding Farm so they lay a guaranteed Wixen egg.
Where to find Wixen in Palworld - Location
Although the breeding method is fairly reliable, it takes too much time and resources to efficiently pull off in the game's early stages. Hence, I recommend traveling the world to find a Wixen, and it's pretty simple to do so.
Go to the vast fire ridge on map coordinates (363, -53), which houses multiple Fire Pals including Wixen. The enemies here are generally around levels 15-25, so this area is very suitable to stack up on some Fire Pals for your base.

All Wixen skills and abilities in Palworld
Below are all the details you need before you take Wixen into your base.
- Partner Skill
- Lord Fox: When fighting with Wixen, your attacks become fire-based.
- Active Skills
- Spirit Fire (Fire, 45 Power): Wixen shoots a shotgun-like fireball that explodes into multiple smaller ones after a short distance. Spirit Fire is decent but pales in comparison to Ignis Blast.
- Ignis Blast (Fire, 30 Power): Wixen will shoot a ball of fire at an enemy. This is a good combat skill since it only has a two-second cooldown.
- Flare Arrow (Fire, 55 Power): Wixen fires three flaming and homing arrows at an enemy. Like Ignis Blast, this is also a decent combat skill due to its low cooldown of 10 seconds.
- Fire Ball (Fire, 150 Power): Wixen will conjure a giant ball of flame and throw it at an enemy. This is one of the most devastating fire attacks in Palworld, and I recommend you utilize it along with Ignis Blast and Flare Arrow.
- Spirit Flame (Dark, 75 Power): Wixen will fire three homing dark-energy balls at an enemy. This move makes Wixen a good substitute for Dark Type Pals in the early game.
- Flare Storm (Fire, 80 Power): Generate two flaming tornadoes and hurl them at an enemy. Flare Storm is a good crowd-control move if you're battling against multiple syndicates or wild Pals.
- Work Suitability
- Kindling (Level 2)
- Transporting (Level 2)
- Handiwork (Level 2)
