What to do with Schematics in Palworld

Collect Schematics and craft better weapons/items!

If you need better or advanced versions of any item in Palworld, you must get Schematics associated with that item. Though there are several methods to obtain Schematics, I highly recommend looting the purple-colored loot boxes that spawn after defeating any dungeon boss.

What are Schematics in Palworld?

Schematics are collectible blueprints in Palworld that help users craft advanced versions of any item. For example, if you want a better Feathered Hair Band, you must obtain Schematics related to it. Depending on the type of Schematics, you can craft advanced versions of the Feathered Hair Band with better stats.

Also, you can always craft any item using the Schematics even if you have not unlocked that particular item from the Technology Tree, saving valuable points. For example, I had crafted a Legendary Crossbow in the game without even unlocking the weapon in the first place.

How many types of Schematics are available in Palworld?

There are four types of Schematics for any particular item in Palworld.

  • Uncommon - Green Colored Schematic Blueprint
  • Rare - Blue Colored Schematic Blueprint
  • Epic - Pink Colored Blueprint
  • Legendary - Gold Colored Schematic Blueprint

Like every other game, Legendary Schematics is the best, followed by Epic, Rare, and Uncommon.

How to get Schematics in Palworld

Though Schematics can be obtained randomly throughout the Palworld, the most consistent way is to loot the purple-colored loot boxes that spawn after defeating any Alpha Dungeon Pal. Find any cave near your base and eliminate the boss to get your Schematics. The rarity of the Schematics is random and not influenced by any factors. So, keep grinding until you need the required Schematics.

How to use Schematics in Palworld

Once you have obtained any Schematic, the next step is to use it. Keep the Schematic in your backpack inventory and hover your mouse over it. The Schematic itself will say where the particular item can be crafted. For example, the Tropical Outfit Uncommon Schematic can be made from a simple Primitive Workbench, whereas a Legendary Crossbow requires a High-Quality Workbench. So, depending on the rarity of the Schematic, the Workbench will vary.

After crafting, you can always store your Schematics inside a chest for future usage. Alternatively, if you are playing the multiplayer mode, you can always share Schematics with your friends and craft the required item.
