Grizzbolt is probably the most iconic Pal in the Palworld mythos akin to Pikachu for the Pokemon series. This elusive Pal is hard to find despite being visible in the Paldeck, so here's how you can get your hands on Palworld's unofficial mascot.
How to capture Grizzbolt in Palworld
Grizzbolt is found in only one specific location in Palworld, and that is the Pal Sanctuary, Southwest of the Plateau of Beginnings waypoint (93, -720). The sanctuary is separated from the mainland by a large body of water, so the only way to reach this place is by riding any Pal that can fly or swim. A Nitewing is a perfectly serviceable Pal for this task.
Once you reach the sanctuary, you'll be greeted by a slew of new Pals you've probably not seen before. It is an arid location hidden well by a sheet of condensed fog, so I recommend having a light source on you if you're heading there at night. This is especially important because this sanctuary is off-limits to you. Guards will open fire on you if you're spotted and give you a Wanted level, which is rather annoying to say to least. Thankfully, their aggro range is rather on the small side, so they are easy to avoid.
Grizzbolt is among the unique Pals that roam about this sanctuary. However, be prepared to scour the area for quite some time, as Grizzbolt is particularly rare to appear. You'll be facing Penkings and Eikthyrdeer Terra for most of your stay at the sanctuary. Neither are aggressive toward you, so you can safely ignore them as you hunt for Grizzbolt.
Should you be graced with the divine presence of a Grizzbolt, your capture plan is the same as it is for most other Pals: lower its health to as little as possible without killing it, then pop him in the head with a Sphere. I recommend using Hyper Spheres to catch Grizzbolt reliably, as anything lower than it has a greatly reduced capture chance. That isn't to say it isn't possible to catch one using a Giga Sphere, but you've been warned.

How strong is Grizzbolt in Palworld?
Grizzbolt has very solid stats for an electric Pal of his caliber. For combat, his signature attack, Lightning Claw, is a powerful melee-based AOE attack that deals high damage and provides a consistent Paralyze effect at the end of the final attack. Grizzbolt is also on the beefier side of things, as his health pool is reasonably high compared to many other Pals.
For labor work, Grizzbolt has level 3 Transporting and Generating Electricity, making him an extremely useful Pal to have sitting at your base. He is also quite capable of lending a hand with your crafts and lumbering your logs as he has level 2 in both of these Work Suitabilities.
That said, Grizzbolt is a very good Pal to hunt for, as his versatility in combat and base-oriented scenarios make him highly valuable to any Pal Trainer's team or base.
