The Mushroom Kingdom is slowly being turned into origami by a mysterious force, and it's up to Mario to save the day. He'll acquire all sorts of tools to help him complete this heroic deed, such as a variety of hammers and boots. However, one major obstacle stands in Mario's way—his mortality. To remedy this, there are a generous number of MAX UP Hearts hidden around the kingdom, though you'll have to find them first. Here are all MAX UP Heart locations in Paper Mario: The Origami King.
Where to find all MAX UP Hearts
There are three types of MAX UP Hearts scattered throughout the land—+20, +10, and +5 Hearts, which will increase Mario's health by twenty, ten, and five points, respectively. A total of 14 Hearts can be found, and their locations are as follows:

- Shroom City
- While inside of Shroom City's hotel, turn off the fountain for the hotel pool. From there, talk to the Snifit that appears to be standing on some pizza to reveal a Toad and obtain this Heart.

- Spring of Rainbows

Break the stalagmite to plug the geyser, causing the nearby platform to rise higher than previously possible. Break these to plug up more geysers, allowing the platform to rise high enough for you to obtain this Heart.
