Do what you can to experience everything.

Atlus games are no stranger to having multiple endings, and Persona 5 Royal is no different. Unlocking this ending is pretty straightforward. You must first make it through the school year to the Third Semester. To do this, you must max out the entirety of the Councillor Confidant before November 18. After that, you will have to wait until January 9, when you will receive an offer from a character in-game that you must reject. On February 2, you will receive the same offer you must reject.

At this point, you will have to secure the treasure in Maruki's Palace and beat the boss, Azathoth. After these steps have been completed, you'll be able to enjoy the new "True" ending.

After reaching the Justice Confidant to Rank 8 before November 17, you'll unlock a bonus cutscene after this ending.
