The Personal Shop Market

The Personal Shop Market is a bit unintuitive. In other games with a market, just searching for an item is typically enough to find it. However, in Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis, the market hides items that you have not seen yourself in-game. This is because of the manner in which the game stores items in its database. It is not enough to simply see the item on another player from a distance. You must inspect their profile and see the actual item's name while it is equipped on them. Once this is done, you should be able to easily find the item through a simple search on the market.

However, sometimes it can be difficult to actually find someone wearing or using the item you're searching for. Typically, the older the item, the more difficult it is to find in-game. Fashion is always moving forward, after all. In this case, you can try asking veteran players to equip the item so you can inspect them. The Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis community is highly social, so don't be surprised if a number of players line up to help you.

As a tip going forward, even if you're not planning to buy any fashion at the moment, we recommend opening the newest AC and SG Scratch ticket line ups that are introduced into the game every week. This way, if you're not ready to purchase that cool outfit from the shop just yet, it will ways be available for you to search for later. This will make your life much easier if you're into the cosmetic lifestyle.
