Phasmophobia's Developers, Kinetic Games, recently shared a Steam Developer Update addressing the concerns regarding console release and announcing the Halloween event. The console release was originally planned to come out alongside the Halloween event, but not anymore.
In the update, the developers expressed their gratitude to the players and said that the recent fire incident in their office building in August and adopting remote work made it difficult to work on the console release. This means Phasmophobia currently does not have any fixed release date for consoles, but Kinetic Games reassured players by saying, "When Phasmophobia arrives on consoles, it will be worth the wait."
The good news is that the new Halloween event is set to launch around October 26. This update completely reworks the Maple Lodge Campsite map, where there will be a cauldron for the new position brewing event.
To play this event, you will have to find several recipe cards at various locations. Once you collect them, come back to Maple Lodge Campsite and brew your potions. This event will reward you with a new ID card badge and a new trophy for your collection.
Additionally, the Maple Lodge Campsite map will feature a new reception area and a reworked outdoor to address some common bugs in the map. There will also be some new hiding spots so you can easily complete the hunt.
