A Pokemon game wouldn't be a Pokemon game without the ability to trade Pokemon with your friends. While Arceus is set in the past, the notion of trading Pokemon is still around. If you want to trade though, you will need to head to a specific location within the game.
To trade with your friends, you will need to head to Jubilife City and go to the stall below the training grounds, the location will be marked on your map. To begin a trade, speak with the lady in charge of the stand and select, I want to trade Pokemon.
Afterward, you can choose between trading locally or by using the internet. You will then need to enter your trade partner's link code to connect with them. Once that's done, you can trade Pokemon like normal to ensure that you can evolve Pokemon like Golem and Alakazam.
Keep in mind that you won't be able to trade Pokemon until after you have completed the game's fifth mission. This feature won't take more than a couple of hours to unlock.
