How to get Hearty Grains in Pokémon Legends: Arceus

There is usually a ton to do in Pokémon games from completing the Pokédex to battling your way to being the best Pokémon trainer. Pokémon Legends: Arceus has expanded in numerous ways to feel more like an open-world RPG. Side quests, called Requests, will send players on missions to discover a certain Pokémon or gather a few items. One of the items needed is called Hearty Grains, and here is where you can find them.

Request 23: Getting a Hold of New Wares

At some point in the game, you will get a Request from Choy, proprietor of the general store in Jubilife Village. Choy will tell you he wants to offer more goods at his store. However, Tao Hua refuses to sell him more wares and Choy needs your help convincing him otherwise. This Request will be called Getting a Hold of New Wares and will task you with gathering three Hearty Grains to help convince Tao Hua to sell new items to the General Store.

Hearty Grains are little yellow plants that look like, you guessed it, grain. These plants are available to purchase from Anvin at the Craftworks in Jubilife Village for 200 Pokédollars a piece. However, you can find several of these plants in the Crimson Mirelands, which you unlock after completing Misson 8, Arezu's Predicament. Below is where we were able to find some Hearty Grain in the Crimson Mirelands.

• Golden Lowlands - A few are located around the lakes right near the Base Camp.
• Sludge Mound - You can sometimes find Hearty Grain inside of a haystack located here.

To search a haystack, just throw your Pokémon at the haystack and they will bring you all the items found inside. Keep a sharp lookout for these when out and about, because they will sometimes blend in with the yellow grass around them.

Once you have three Hearty Grains, you can go ahead and take them to Tao Hua in Jubilife Village. You can find him located in the basement of Galaxy Hall. Give him the Hearty Grain and he will agree to let Choy sell more items at his store. After returning to Choy you will see he now has new items for sale.
