Is there Wonder Trading in Pokemon Legends Arceus?

One of the most well-known features of the Pokemon franchise is being able to trade with your friends and strangers. Many different Pokemon evolutions are locked behind trading, making it a must for completionists. Wonder Trade, on the other hand, is a newer type of trading that is completely random.

As of right now, Pokemon Legends Arceus does not have Wonder Trading, and there seem to be no intentions to add it to the game. This could always change, but given the unique way that Pokemon are handled in the game, it doesn't look like it will be added.

Wonder Trade is basically a Pokemon lottery that relies on both your luck and the kindness of players who are currently playing the game. With Arceus, there is a high chance that Wonder Trading would just amount to Bidoofs raining from the virtual sky.

Currently, you can trade with your friends using the trading post though. This includes both local and internet trades, where you can see what Pokemon you are actually getting.
