While there are many Pokémon added in the Teal Mask DLC for Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, the one I wanted most is Blood Moon Ursaluna. It is a special Pokémon that can only be acquired through a unique quest, and not with a Moon Stone like the name suggests. Here's how to get Blood Moon Ursaluna in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet.
How to get Blood Moon Ursaluna in Teal Mask DLC Pokémon Scarlet & Violet
- This guide is a work in progress and is being updated.
Blood Moon Ursaluna is one of the rarest Pokémon in Scarlet and Violet, and is only available through the Teal Mask DLC. To get this Pokémon, you must speak to Perrin, the girl with the camera on the west side of Mossui Town. She can be found here, shown in the image below.
She will ask you to return after you've registered 150 Pokémon in the Kitakami Pokédex. Once you've completed this task, return to Perrin, and she will battle you. After defeating her, Perrin sends you to the Timeless Woods in the north part of Kitakami in search of the Bloodmoon Beast.

Once there, you are attacked by an Ariados, but you shouldn't have any trouble defeating it. You'll soon set up camp; speak to Perrin to start the next part of the quest, which requires photographing ten unique Pokémon. Return to Perrin with the photos and speak to her, and eventually, the Blood Moon Ursaluna will appear.
Battle the Blood Moon Ursaluna and whittle its health down to zero. Once it's weakened, you can catch the Blood Moon Ursaluna and add it to your team. Return to Perrin, where you first met her, and speak to her to get a Choice Scarf and Hisuian Growlithe.
