Does Pokémon size matter in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet?

Big or small, still gotta catch 'em all!

Pokémon size and weight have always been a point of conversation among fans, and that is especially so in the latest installment to the franchise, Pokémon Scarlet & Violet. Since the Pokémon are available to see in the overworld as opposed to as randomly popping up in tall grass, you can see their physical size. If you've been playing either of the games for any amount of time, then you have absolutely noticed that some Pokémon are much smaller or much larger than others. Unfortunately, the size of these different Pokémon doesn't necessarily matter outside of your personal preference.

Can Pokémon size matter in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet?

Of course, this game does introduce Titan Pokémon, which are large-scale versions of regular Pokémon. However, these specific Pokémon are locked to particular events throughout the game, like the Path of Legends, and you aren't able to catch them. They will have large health bars above their heads and perform different move cutscenes as opposed to your standard Pokémon battle. Considering that, their size really doesn't matter in the grand scale of things beyond making a great battle even better.

What does matter would be the Nature of the Pokémon that you catch or trade for as well as their IV and whether or not they are shiny. Beyond that, you can make your team as small or as large as you'd like!
