How to get Booster Energy in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet

Are you ready for a new item?

For fans who have played through enough of Pokémon Scarlet & Violet to have encountered Paradox Pokémon already, then you are aware of Booster Energy. This is an item that can be held by Paradox Pokémon, resulting in extra strength at the very beginning of a battle. There are a few ways for players to obtain a Booster Energy for themselves. But, the most important thing to know is the easiest way to find one is by having a Miraidon in your party.

That means that if you are playing Pokémon Scarlet and have a Koraidon, you will need to trade it out with a friend for a short period of time. You will also need to ensure that you have a Pokémon in your party that has the special ability Frisk. Frisk lets the player see if the Pokémon they are battling is carrying any special items. So, once you have both of these Pokémon, where exactly do you get Booster Energy in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet?

Where to get Booster Energy in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet

Once you have a Miraidon and a Pokémon that knows Frisk in your party, you need to make note of Miraidon's special ability, Hadron Energy. This prevents Pokémon that you are battling from using their special items right away. So, paired with the Pokémon that knows Frisk and Miraidon's Hadron Energy, you should be able to find what wild Pokémon is holding a Booster Energy so that you can capture it. There is a very low drop rate for this item, so you might need to search around for a while before you find one.

Alternatively, you can wait until the very end of the game, just before you fight off against either AI Sada or AI Turo. A Booster Energy will be waiting on the floor in the form of a glowing Poké Ball for you to pick up and take with you.
