Which Held Item Boosts Dragon Type Moves in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet?

There are several types of Pokémon in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, many of which have held items that will boost the power of this type. Dragon is one of the strongest types in the game, featuring many powerful Pokémon and great resistances. This may leave you wondering what item will power up Dragon-type moves in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet.

The item that boosts Dragon-type moves in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet is the Dragon Fang. When held by a Pokémon, it will increase Dragon-type moves by 20 percent. It does not have to be a Dragon Pokémon that uses this item, as the effect will apply to any Dragon-type move used by any Pokémon of any type. The higher the power of the Dragon-type move, the more that move's power will be boosted.

Where to get the Dragon Fang in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet

The Dragon Fang can be purchased at the Delibird Presents in Cascarrafa under the Battle Items tab. Buying this held item will set you back 3,000 Poké Dollars. Head to the location marked in the image below to purchase this held item. Once you have bought it, simply go into your menu and give it to a Pokémon to hold.

Good Pokémon to give this item to are Dragonite, Salamance, Baxcalibur, and Hydreigon. These are some of the strongest Dragon-type Pokémon in the game, and they learn powerful Dragon moves. Koraidon and Miraidon are also good Pokémon to give the Dragon Fang to, but they cannot be caught until the end of the game.
