Galarian Slowpoke made its debut into Pokémon GO in 2021, and there are still trainers out there figuring out just how to evolve it. There are a few steps players have to take to make this Slowpoke evolve, and here's how to do it.
How evolving Galarian Slowpoke in Pokémon GO works
For starters, players will need to make Galarian Slowpoke their buddy. Once that's done, they'll need to catch 30 Poison-type Pokémon. Once both of those things are done, Galarian Slowpoke will start evolving. It's a time-consuming process, but it's what players have to accomplish in order to fill out their Pokédex and get a stronger Pokémon.
There are some exceptions to this rule, such as the March 2023 Community Day event. On that day players needed to catch 30 Psychic-types to evolve their Galarian Slowpoke, but since that was just a one-day event, players won't have to keep that in mind going forward.
What does Galarian Slowpoke evolve into in Pokémon GO?
Players looking to evolve Galarian Slowpoke might want to know what their Slowpoke will be turning into. Pokémon fans will likely be able to guess this as Galarian Slowpoke will evolve into Galarian Slowbro.
Ultimately, the evolution is something that should be done just to unlock more of the Pokédex, but it's tough to imagine this Pokémon making much of an impact in the meta. It can make for a solid gym defender thanks to its resistance against Fighting-type moves. Players can also take things to the next level and evolve the Slowbro into a Slowking for some more stats.
