Pokémon Go is in the middle of its Season of Alola celebration. The Lush Jungle event is currently ongoing as a part of this celebration and has brought many new Pokémon to the mobile game. The new Pokémon range from legendaries, like Tapu Lele, to smaller powerful Pokémon, like Lurantis.
Lurantis can be obtained by catching a Fomantis in the wild and evolving it. Lurantis cannot currently be caught in Raid battles or hatch from eggs. The Pokémon's shiny form is also still missing from Pokémon Go, though it will likely be added at a later date.

How to evolve Fomantis in Pokémon Go?
To obtain Fomantis, players need to hunt around in the wild. This Pokémon is not featured in Raid battles and will need to be caught. It can also be obtained after completing some of the Special Research tasks in the Akala Adventure Questline. To evolve the Pokémon, players need to use 50 Fomantis Candy and evolve it during the daytime. During the night, the Pokémon will not have the ability to evolve.
