Pokémon Go has brought us Incense Day for December 2021. With this special event, Pokémon of specific types are attracted to Incense used during the event's timeframe, giving players opportunity to catch specific Pokémon in higher numbers to get more candy and experience, or to evolve their Pokémon!
Incense Day
There are plenty of features to expect during the event's timeframe on Dec. 5, between the hours of 11am and 5pm.
Featured Pokémon
The Incense Day for December 2021 will attract two different types of Pokémon, Ice and Ground. Naturally, Swinub will be the featured Pokémon as both Ice and Ground type, but there are other Pokémon we can expect to see when we light an Incense. During the event, the Pokémon attracted to the incense alternate every hour.
- All Day: Swinub
- 11am - 12pm: Seel, Jynx, Sneasel, Snorunt, Snover, Vanillite, Galarian Darumaka
- 12pm - 1pm: Onix, Cubone, Rhyhorn, Wooper, Phanpy, Barboach, Larvitar
- 1pm - 2pm: Seel, Jynx, Sneasel, Snorunt, Snover, Vanillite, Galarian Darumaka
- 2pm - 3pm: Onix, Cubone, Rhyhorn, Wooper, Phanpy, Barboach, Larvitar
- 3pm - 4pm: Seel, Jynx, Sneasel, Snorunt, Snover, Vanillite, Galarian Darumaka
- 4pm - 5pm: Onix, Cubone, Rhyhorn, Wooper, Phanpy, Barboach, Larvitar
Bonuses
Aside from the Pokémon listed above being attracted to incense, there are a few additional bonus features we can expect.
- Swinub will be attracted to Incense during the whole event.
- If you evolve Piloswine (Swinub's second form) into Mamoswine, it will automatically learn the attack Ancient Power.
- Event-exclusive Field Research will be available.
- The shop will have a bundle for 1 PokéCoin that contains two Incense.
