Chapter 14, Part 2: For You, My Heart Battle Guide – Triangle Strategy

A tempest on the Norzelia River!

Triangle Strategy's Chapter XIV, Part II: For You, My Heart has you facing off once more against General Avlora. You've successfully interrupted her escape on the Norzelia River, and your party will attack her getaway ship from your own boat. The two vessels are attached by a single pulley you can cross, one at a time, but you cannot cross back. A new battle, Skirmish on the Norzelia River, will commence once you choose your units. To win, "Defeat Avlora." To lose, see all of your units perish.

Ranged attackers, such as Archibald, are essential for this fight, so make sure his passive ability, Raging Winds, has been secured through Jens—it will increase his damage dealt during tempests, and this battle occurs in the turbulence of one. Frederica's high attack range will also be important to have along. It should go without saying that your hawk rider, Hughette, will be able to fly to the other ship without having to use the pulley.

You can also use Groma, if she's found her way to your ranks by now. She's a fierce martial arts expert whose physical blows are powerful and even ranged once she levels up. Lionel's advanced ability may also be of good use here—if you've got him wearing a Golden Pinkie Ring, a Luck Amulet, and heightened luck stats, his powerful Brute Force ability may net you some great spoils. You can also bring Medina, whose ability to throw healing items to two allies in one turn could be crucial.

Defeat Avlora to Win!

Three level-22 Aesfrosti Hawknights begin at the side of the enemy ship, so have Hughette in a Vanguard Scarf act before anyone on their arrow weakness. One level-22 Bowman stands on their deck, and two Bowmen perch high above, so their hits will hurt. Two Shieldbearers also stand on deck, along with a Healer, who'll waste no time casting the regen-like Life Magic on Avlora, level 23.

Milo has also come along with you. Use her Moon Jump ability to cross instantly and begin attacking the Hawknights. Keep her healed so she doesn't fall early. Her Green Mist ability, in particular, does serious damage and has the chance to poison enemies—but not Avlora, who is immune.

Once you've felled enough of their units, three more will appear from below their deck—a Blade, Pikeman, and another Bowman, all at level 22. Defeat the Healer as soon as possible. Otherwise, Avlora will recover 100 HP for three consecutive turns under the effects of Life Magic. It shouldn't be hard to take out every unit on this ship if yours are at the recommended level 22, but all you need to do is defeat her.

Along with saving, consider leveling your characters using the Mental Mock Battles at the Encampment. Use the spoils, especially from Hossabara's latest available battle, to upgrade the weapon ranks of your strongest fighters. And definitely stock up on accessories and enough HP Recovery Pellets from Lionel.
