How to use Hossabara Freyya – Triangle Strategy Unit Guide

A frontline healer—what a champ!

Every character in Triangle Strategy is built differently. Each of them have unique skills, terrain advantages, and a variety of uses, depending on the situation. Some units work better with others. Others are great for farming coin or items but shouldn’t be taken to main stage battles.

Even though Hossabara has a lot of offensive skills, that’s not her main use. You will want to turn Hossabara into a mobile healer and follow-up attacker. With Be Brave, she can heal every unit beside her square. The two TP cost is a non-issue, as she automatically generates TP as long as she walks far.

Hossabara makes a great follow-up attack initiator since she’s fast and has high movement. She can go wherever you need her to be.

Capitalize on Hossabara’s high speed by equipping her with more speed accessories. She cannot be targeted by her own heal skill, so give her an HP accessory as well, which increases her survivability. Moreover, while her HP, defenses, and evasion are decent, as a cavalry unit, she’s vulnerable to spears. Always keep an eye out for spearmen on the map!

Class promotions and weapon upgrades

Prioritize weapon potency and HP upgrades for Hossabara. The former will increase her heals and the latter will ensure she lives longer. At Weapon Rank two, you have the option to unlock either the skill that increases the heals of Be Brave or the one that allows Hossabara and another unit to gain a little HP during a follow-up attack. Both are good options depending on how you want to use Hossabara. If she’s your main healer, however, unlock the upgrade for Be Brave.

She does not need to be promoted immediately. At Elite class, she unlocks the Up and Up skill, which is a passive that deals more damage the more TP she has stored. Since your Hossabara will very likely not be storing TPs and will not by an attacking unit, she’s fine as a Veteran.
