How to use Medina Alliam – Triangle Strategy Unit Guide

She's an expensive investment but a really good one.

Units in Triangle Strategy are built differently. Each of them have unique skills, terrain advantages, and a variety of uses, depending on the situation. Some units work better with others. Others are great for farming coin or items but shouldn’t be taken to main stage battles.

In this guide, we’ll teach you how to use Medina Alliam, a healer from Hyzante.

Medina is arguably one the best characters in the game, simply because of the range of her utility. She's a high-speed, high-movement healer. She's a Benedict without the extreme TP costs.

  • Long Toss: Lets her throw items from up to three tiles away.
  • HP Physick: All the healing items that she throws have increased potency.
  • Double Items: Lets her throw two items in one turn.
  • Fast-Acting Medication: Acts like Benedict’s Now…!, which grants an ally the turn after hers. It uses a Swift Spice.
  • TP Physick: Much later on, she gets a passive skill that lets her grant one TP to every unit she heals.

TP Physick with Double Items or something like a Ranged Recovery Pellet is a broken combo. None of your allies will ever run out of TPs. If she gets a lot of turns, she can grant allies more turns. If someone is in dire need of a heal, she can get close and do that. If someone is in a need of a defense buff, she can throw the items needed for that, too.

In fact, if you're up against a boss, she can throw a Defortifying Spice (Defense down) or an Uninvigorating Spice (Attack down) without ever needing to get near them.

Medina makes every battle that much easier to manage. Her only downside is that she needs a constant supply of items. Always clear the merchant’s wares whenever you see one during explorations.

Class promotions and weapon upgrades

Upgrade Medina's speed (Weapon Rank one and two) as well as her movement (Weapon Rank two). You want her to move as fast and as far as possible. Next, invest in her HP and physical defense. Ignore the Weapon Damage and Luck upgrades. We’re not building her offensively.

Give her one speed and an HP accessory. We may want her to move fast, but we also need her to survive.

Medina does not need to be promoted. Her Elite skill, which allows her to pick up pellets with spoils, is not needed. You can just grind money and purchase those from Lionel.
