How to use First Aid Kit in Project Zomboid

To use a First Aid Kit in Project Zomboid, you will first need to equip it. Equipping a First Aid Kit in the game will allow you to access and use the medical supplies inside of it. 

Placing a First Aid Kit on the ground will also allow you to access its inventory, allowing you to get the precious supplies inside of it. 

But if you were wondering if you could use First Aid Kits as a heal item, the answer is no. First Aid Kits in Project Zomboid are just containers for medical supplies, so you can not use them as a traditional health item like in other games. 

That said, the only real use of First Aid Kits is to use them as a way to store all of your medical supplies on your character. Doing so will make finding medical supplies easier and keep your inventory organized.

Storing supplies inside of First Aid Kits also reduces the weight of the supplies. Because of this, it may prove helpful to carry a First Aid Kit around on your character. 

But on the other hand, it may prove clunky to try and open a kit fast enough to heal wounds. If you have struggled with opening First Aid Kits, the best option is just to drop the First Aid Kit on the ground. When you drop containers on the ground, you will be able to access their inventory by opening the looting container menu.
