How to Complete Rodeo/Cork Training – Get Perfect Tricks in Riders Republic

Struggling to land you Rodeo or Cork without bailing? Try this!

Riders Republic has a useful way to get your tricks up to speed so that you can rack the highest points in the gnarliest of ways! The Tricks Academy lets you practice and learns new tricks for your sessions, but they're not always the easiest…

The Rodeo and Cork on your bike are not the simplest of tricks, as they require quite a lot of body rotation. You won't get as many points if you land wrong or bail out and land badly. The training section for this in the academy has you perform each trick twice and then requires you to do them perfectly three times.

During the training section, where you jump off of the ramps is crucial. For the ramps that tilt upwards (towards the sky), you will want to Sprint and Jump at the very top to pump your trick. This should give you enough air time to land back down perfectly in line with the track.

For the ramps that are flat and are more like riding off mini jumps, you will want to start the trick earlier and not at the end of the ramp (roughly about 2/3rds of the way across).

The game calculates how many drops you have left in the trick, and if you jump earlier on in the ramp, your body rotation will be quicker, making it more likely to get a perfect landing. This is how you can also perform the trick from the ground sometimes and still land it.

The rotation will be bigger by executing the trick at the end of the ramp, meaning you will probably either bail or land backward, which is classed as a bad landing.

It will take some practice, especially when figuring out how to line it up and letting go of the trick in manual mode. Just keep having a go at it, and you'll get the knack for it soon enough!
