Extreme sports goes digital in Riders Republic, a massive multiplayer open world game where players compete in various sport activities across iconic U.S. national parks. Announced during the Ubisoft Forward E3 2021 conference, players can participate in these wild stunts this year.
Riders Republic is expected to release on Sept. 2, 2021 for all major platforms. The game joins up to 50 players to compete in extreme sports activities including biking, snowboarding, skiing, and flying wingsuit. There are social hubs that encourage players to hangout with each other and share exciting stories about their own experiences with the game.
Some of the U.S. national parks that appear in the game are Bryce Canyon, Yosemite Valley, Sequoia Park, Zion, Canyonlands, Mammoth Mountain, Grand Teton, and more. All of these landmarks have been stitched to together in-game to easily jump between, race, and explore. Players can expect to discover and collect items around each major landmark
With Riders Republic, Ubisoft plans to create a multiplayer community by hosting frequent 50-player races. On a smaller scale, players can compete in 6 vs. 6 PVP modes and take home online cups for winning a tournament.
