Anime Adventures Dungeon Guide – Keys, Chests and Weapons

The update 20 for Anime Adventures introduces the new world Shibuya, Dungeon game mode, several unlockable units, and other changes. Dungeon Run is a major highlight and is a fun new addition that players will love to experience. Here's a comprehensive guide on how to play this mode for exclusive rewards.

Anime Adventures Dungeon Guide

Dungeon is showcased on the left side of your screen next to the Contracts tab. It is a maze with 20 levels of depth with the difficulty and the chances of unlocking hidden secrets increasing as you progress down the Dungeon Depth. Each room in the maze holds something unique, with some having valuable treasure chests and others leading to shops. Ultimately, you'll receive cool rewards including a chance to win special limited-time units.

How to get Dungeon Run Keys

You must have a Dungeon Run Key to enter the Dungeon in Anime Adventures. One Dungeon Key is given to players as a daily login reward. If you have said key in your inventory, simply press on the Dungeon tab and press Enter Dungeon to launch a fresh run. You can play as usual, progress through the depths, and even quit the maze by clicking on the button on the top left. However, doing so will result in you losing all collected rewards and wastage of one Dungeon Key.

Besides getting the Dungeon Key via daily login bonus, there is also a way to purchase it. Visit the Gambler NPC outside the Summon area (see image above) and ask him to Open Shop. You can get 3 Dungeon Keys in exchange for 10 Sacred Treasures from the shop. The items in Gambler's inventory restock daily, so the prices may vary.

How to earn chests from the Dungeon

Once you start a Dungeon Run by using a key, you'll be presented with a menu like one shown in the picture above. Examine the available rooms and enter the one you think can be conquered by your units. Some of the map areas featured in the Dungeon Rooms include Rain Village, Fiend City, Sacred Planet, Snowy Town, Dungeon Throne, and Dungeon Room.

How to get powerful weapons

Begin with Depth 1, which has 0.4x difficulty, and keep progressing until you reach level 20. You'll have to win each depth to unlock the next one and enter it. What each room has to offer is mentioned in the menu. Hoard rooms offer money that you can collect and later spend at the Shop when accessible to purchase useful weapons. Undoubtedly, this is crucial as you'll need superior firepower at higher levels.

How to earn more rewards

Rewards in the Dungeon mode are granted by opening Chests, which in turn can be obtained by clearing rooms marked with the chest symbol. You can open the collected treasure boxes at checkpoints marked on top of the menu, or go through them altogether at the very end of your Dungeon Run. Open chests at the end for a chance to win a secret unit.

Furthermore, if you manage to clear all 20 depth levels of the Dungeon, you can unlock a limited-time special unit. Interestingly, some rooms carry a Curse that acts against you and in favor of the attacking forces. For instance, one room in my Dungeon Run had Curse of Shielding that boosts enemy shield capacity. However, rooms with a Curse grant you a bonus reward. Therefore, go for these rooms if you're confident you can handle the heat for good legendary treasure in return.
