Best Air Units in Anime Last Stand

Air tower defense.

One of the mistakes I often make when playing tower defense games is forgetting to place air units on time. Here's how to stay prepared and place the best air units in Anime Last Stand so you don't get smothered from above.

Best Air Units in Anime Last Stand, Ranked

S-Tier

Curse King (Suppressed)

Curse King (Suppressed) is a Mythic air unit that's especially useful against hordes of enemies because of his Bleed damage. If the name doesn't ring a bell, Sukuna from Jujutsu Kaisen certainly does, as that's his actual name.

Flame Alchemist

Flame Alchemist is a Celestial fire element hill unit with Burn damage. Like Curse King, he deals damage over time, one of the most valuable abilities in tower defense games. That is especially useful for tank enemies that may get out of the range of your best units.

A-Tier

Boku (SS)

Boku (SS) is one of my favorite air units, as his deployment costs $600, so I can place him in the early stages of the battle. He deals area-of-effect (AoE) circle damage, so his ideal spot is at the corners where he can cover the most ground.

Jenos

Jenos (Genos from One Punch Man) is a Mythic air unit that can be deployed quickly, costing only $450. Because he deals cone-shaped damage, I like combining him with circle-damage units. This way, I'm sure all angles are covered, as I don't want to have too many air units on the field unless it's an air unit-only map.

B-Tier

Kon (Adult)

Kon (Adult) is a Celestial hybrid unit, meaning he can handle ground and air units. While that adds flexibility to your team, I'm not a fan of hybrid roles, as it takes time to upgrade them. But you'll be golden if you plan the unit placement and upgrade Kon (Adult) when air units arrive.

Worlds Strongest (Old)

Worlds Strongest (Old) is a powerful Mythic hybrid unit that you'll usually deploy in the later stages of the battle. Timing is mainly based on his cost, as his deployment costs unholy $1450! While this old guy is a hybrid, you may have trouble upgrading him to prepare for air attacks.

C-Tier

Noble Captain

Oh, Captain, my Noble Captain! If you could be more powerful, I would gladly move you to the upper tiers, but alas... The main issue with Byakuya Kuchiki from Bleach is that he becomes a hybrid upgrade 6, which can sometimes be too late.

Vagata

Vagata is a Rare Hill unit with a reasonable cost of $500. While not especially deadly compared to other units, he offers a decent range covering air and ground units. Having said that, I'm not a fan of line AoE attacks, as they narrow my placement options.
