Top 10 Roblox Horror Games with Multiplayer in 2024

I'm going to be honest here. I wrote this between 3 and 4am with The Simpsons playing in the background and suddenly heard some random owl hooting - absolutely spooked me! It took me a good few seconds to realize that it was the audio from the episode playing.

Also, why are all the icons for the horror games on Roblox so grotesque? Anyway, here are my top 10 picks to give you nightmares if you're not desensitized to horror or you have a vivid imagination. I tried to stick to games that had at least a few hundred active players still.

I'm not sleeping tonight, that's for sure. Enjoy.

10. Flee the Facility

The objective of Flee the Facility is a simple one: work together to hack computers and unlock the exits before the Beast hunts you down and captures you.

The Beast, played by another Roblox user, could be lurking around any corner. While you're hacking, be sure to watch your avatar's back and be on the lookout for a red light.

It's the only sure way to know that the Beast is coming.

9. Apeirophobia

Set in an endless maze of eerie, dimly lit hallways and rooms, Apeirophobia plunges you and three friends into a nightmarish journey where escape seems impossible. The tension builds as you explore the seemingly endless corridors, with each turn revealing new horrors. This one also made it into our list of the best 20 games to play on Roblox with friends.

Apeirophobia's clever use of psychological horror will keep you constantly on edge, questioning reality and fearing what might be lurking around the next corner.

Start running.

8. Don't Sleep

The sheer amount of anxiety I felt playing this. My goodness.

Don't Sleep is a Roblox horror experience that takes the fear of nightmares to a whole new level. In this game, you and your friends must navigate through a series of terrifying scenarios that challenge your courage and wit. The premise is easy to understand: try to stay awake and survive as long as possible while disturbing events unfold around you.

The eerie atmosphere, combined with jump scares and a haunting soundtrack, keeps you on edge throughout the entire experience. It's the kind of game that makes you second-guess turning off the lights in your own room after playing.

7. The Mimic

The Mimic is a spine-chilling game that throws you into a dark, twisted world inspired by Japanese folklore and urban legends. In this experience, you and your friends must work your way through haunting environments filled with eerie, supernatural entities that draw heavily from tales like the yokai and other mythical spirits.

The story unfolds in chapters, each more terrifying than the last, as you uncover the mysteries behind the malevolent forces hunting you. The Mimic is perfect for players who love a good scare and a deep, engaging storyline rooted in ancient myths.

I made the mistake of joining The Witch Trials and being lured into a false sense of security. I'm not going to be forgetting that jumpscare any time soon.

6. Short Creepy Stories

Short Creepy Stories is a collection of short stories designed to... Well, scare you. Each story takes you and your friends through a different scenario, packed with eerie twists - and creepy things. They're just creepy. Why I chose to play the Dollhouse, I'll never know.

The game’s episodic structure makes it perfect for quick, intense bursts of fear, with each story delivering its unique brand of terror. From haunted houses to unsettling encounters with the supernatural, "Short Creepy Stories" keeps you on edge with its unpredictable plots and immersive atmosphere. It's an excellent choice for those who enjoy a variety of horror themes and want to experience multiple scares in one sitting.

5. Scary Elevator

Absolutely no part of me wanted to click on this game.

As step into the Scary Elevator, the game randomly selects a terrifying killer to spawn, giving you just moments to brace yourself before the chaos begins.

When the doors open, you'll have to dodge the killer’s attacks and survive until the elevator closes again, earning coins and survival points that can be used to buy items to help you stay alive longer. For an extra challenge, you can try to escape through a hatch, earning a hefty coin bonus and a quick return to the lobby.

4. Pressure

While playing an inmate drafted for a perilous mission, you must avoid the terrifying things that lurk in the shadows. You have been employed to find a mysterious crystal hidden within a nightmarish facility. With no prior warning about the horrors that await, you must navigate the many dark, claustrophobic rooms.

The game’s unique mechanic allows you to gather crucial information about these creatures each time you die, making your repeated attempts both a learning experience and a test of survival.

A word of advice: Don't lose your companions, it makes it so much worse.

No Pressure.

3. Judy

Okay, I'm going to give everyone a warning here. Chapter one of Judy has Centipede Judy in it. I have a huge ick about centipedes, and even thinking about them makes me feel sick. The whole monster design in this game is just super gross - it's really on that level of horror that makes you think you're going to throw up.

You and your friends get to investigate an abandoned theme park and its sinister past. Lovely. But, that's not the only location you'll see in the three chapters of Judy.

As you uncover the dark secrets behind Judy's disappearance and confront supernatural threats, the story unfolds with increasing intensity, before coming to a dramatic conclusion by the ocean. There are several versions of Judy that you'll be on the run from, and none of them are particularly easy on the eyes.

2. The Intruder

You are alone in your house, only to receive a chilling warning that a dangerous criminal is on the loose and has you in their sights. Using the game's cameras, you must monitor the intruder's movements and stay hidden to avoid being discovered.

If the intruder enters your room, you need to quickly hide in the closet and turn off the lights until the phone regains service. With five intense levels, The Intruder tests your ability to manage two crucial bars: Awareness and Anxiety. High Awareness leads to immediate danger, while rising Anxiety can cause you to pass out from shock.

The Intruder can be played solo, but that's up to you. A quick content warning: The player is playing an individual diagnosed with schizophrenia, who has been asked to make video tapes to show them if the things happening to them are real or not.

1. Doors

This is a nightmarish journey through an endless maze of rooms, with the ultimate goal of reaching Door 100. As you progress through DOORS, you'll encounter a series of randomly generated rooms filled with unsettling entities designed to terrify and hinder your escape.

From the eerie Screech (which lurks in dark corners and attacks if you don't keep watch) to the relentless Rush (who smashes through rooms with a bone-chilling scream), each entity brings a unique and horrifying challenge. With every door you open, the tension ramps up, forcing you to stay alert and strategize carefully to survive the horrors that await in the shadows. DOORS offers a relentless, pulse-pounding experience where every step could lead to your demise, making it a true test of courage and nerves.

With over 20,000 active players, I consider DOORS to be the best multiplayer horror game on Roblox.

Excuse me while I go and play Dress to Impress to erase all of this from my brain. Speaking of, we just put up a piece about all controls in Dress to Impress for all devices - might be useful if you also need a brain cleanser after playing any of these horror games.
