Best Champions in Death Ball
All the Champions in Death Ball below are ranked according to their overall potential in combat scenarios.
S-Tier
The following are the best champions in the game, and you should equip them if you are trying for the leaderboards.
Kameki
Kameki is the best overall champion in Death Ball. Each of his abilities is lethal and mainly catered towards to give you an upper hand in the Faceoff. Abilities like Dragon Rush and Instant Travel to reposition in battle quickly and confuse opponents, while powers like Ki Blast and Death Ball can make the ball travel much quicker. I highly recommend Kameki on every map and game mode in Death Ball.

A - Tier
Saito
Saito was the best overall champion in the game until the release of Kamaki. Still, he is lethal in the playfield due to his insane abilities of the super jump, sonic slide, and ground balls that allow you to reposition, dodge, and auto-deflect the orb. Moreover, the cooldown is low, making it super spammable in mid to late-game scenarios with fewer players.
Gazo
Gazo is a solid top-tier character with various abilities suitable for defensive and offensive gameplay. If you are a defensive player who likes to eliminate players based on skills rather than manual deflection, use abilities like Fake Ball and Phase Ball to confuse enemies and remain defensive. On the other hand, skills like Astral Mortal help to deflect the ball much better and be aggressive.
B- Tier
All characters in A-Tier are fantastic units in all game modes but may feel a bit weak against S-Tier. So, choose them if you have not unlocked any units from S-Tier.
Foxuro
Foxuro is a fantastic beginner-friendly champion due to its simple ability kit. Most of his abilities, like ninja run, shadow clone, and tree jump, are effective against other new players, as you can deceive them and secure points. The only problem is that it can become predictive when used against veteran players, as they can easily see through your plans.
Lufus
Like Foxuro, Lufus is also an excellent beginner-type champion in Death Ball. Most of the abilities are auto-target type features enabling you to focus on positioning rather than combat. For example, if you are struggling to deflect the ball from any particular opponent, use the Glass Wall ability to auto-deflect the ball until you figure out the tactics deployed by that player.
C-Tier
All the following units are downright pathetic in the game. I highly recommend staying away from these units as much as possible.
Gemtoki
Gemtoki is one of the weakest units in the game, as his entire kit revolves around producing and collecting gems instead of aiding you in battles. So, if your sole aim is to collect gems to unlock champions or swords, use Gimtoki for farming resources. But if you aim to win battles, please stay away from Gimtoki if you want to win games!
