With so many different Kagune and Quinque in GHOUL RE, figuring out which ones to reroll for can be difficult. After all, even though each Kagune and Quinque has their unique skills and abilities, not all of them are equally as good. Some of them are much better than others, so to help you choose the best ones, we've compiled the ultimate Kagune and Qinque tier list for GHOUL RE.
GHOUL RE Kagune Tier List
Tier | Kagune |
---|---|
S | ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |
A | ![]() ![]() ![]() |
B | ![]() ![]() ![]() |
C | ![]() |
The above tier list provides you with a general overview of the Kagune that you can awaken in GHOUL RE. The best Kagune right now are Ken, Takizawa, Noro, and Mayu, as all of them have an excellent mix of utility, damage, and mobility. If you're unsure of how to awaken your Kagune, check out our Kagune progression guide for GHOUL RE.
S Tier Kagune
These are by far the best Kagune in GHOUL RE. They excel both in PvP and PvE, and because they are so strong, they are also very hard to get (only a 3% roll chance for Legendary Kagune). Here's a more detailed breakdown of each S-tier Kagune and why they're better than the rest:
Kagune | Pros/Cons |
---|---|
![]() Ken | + One of the best Kagune in GHOUL RE DPS-wise + Has a V2 and a special mode (Kakuja) + Extreme combo potential and CC on almost all skills – Relatively low range before you get V2 – Requires a bit of skill to use, but it's rewarding |
![]() Takizawa | + Extremely good mobility and melee AoE + Invulnerability on several moves + One of the best Kagune for 1vX encounters + Has a V2 + Very easy to play with – Relatively low range except for the aerial Critical |
![]() Yomo | + Very good mobility on all skills + Decent damage + Easy-to-land combos + Has a V2 that is actually really good – Low range – Not much AoE except for the 2nd Critical |
![]() Mayu | + Custom M1s + Quick skill animations and very good damage + Excellent utility with traps – Lacking mobility on its skills |
A Tier Kagune
The A-tier Kagune in GHOUL RE are the ones that you can stick with when rerolling, and you won't have too bad of a time playing with them. While not the best, they can be good both in PvP and PvE. Here's each A-tier Kagune and why they're ranked in this tier:
Kagune | Pros/Cons |
---|---|
![]() Eto | + Excellent mobility + Very good combo potential + Frenzy state will help you turn fights – Relatively low total damage – Requires quite a bit of skill to be good with |
![]() Noro | + Has a V2 + Very good Kagune for 1v1s + Hyper armor on a lot of skills – Requires quite a bit of skill to be good with – Knockback on skills before you land C twice is atrocious – You need to get it to V2 for it to become good |
![]() Yamori | + Okayish range + Has a bit of AoE and the combo isn't that bad + Has a new OP Kakuja – No mobility – Outdamaged by most legendary Kagune |
B Tier Kagune
The B-Tier Kagune are all good options in the early game in GHOUL RE, though they do fall off later on compared to the legendary ones. The best one might actually be Wing V1, as its high range allows for easy kiting of bosses, which is what early-game PvE is all about.
Kagune | Pros/Cons |
---|---|
![]() Tsukiyama | + Easy-to-land combo + Solid damage for a rare Kagune – No mobility – Outdamaged by all legendary Kagune |
![]() Nishio | + Solid range, damage, and mobility + Has a V2 that is actually really good + One of the best common Kagune – Requires a bit of skill to use |
![]() Wing | + Good mobility and range and easy to kite with + Extremely high damage for a common Kagune + Has a V2 – The V2 might actually be worse than the V1 – Requires good aim, making it bad for PvP |
C Tier Kagune
Finally, the C-Tier includes the common rarity Kagune, with the lowest attack and usability out of all Kagune in GHOUL RE. Currently, only Beaked is that bad to be included in this tier. All other Kagune just have much more damage or utility.
Kagune | Pros/Cons |
---|---|
![]() Beaked | + Okayish mobility and AoE – Fairly bad damage – One of the worst Kagune in GHOUL RE |

The above tier list provides you with an overview of the Quinque that you can craft and use in GHOUL RE. If you're unsure of how to unlock or evolve your Quinque, check out our GHOUL RE Qinque progression guide. Do note that the above list does not consider Standard Issue Quinque since they're all just simple Critical modifiers.
S Tier Quinque
These are the best Quinque in GHOUL RE. They are all legendary rarity and require quite a few rare materials and blueprints to craft. Here's a more detailed breakdown of each S-tier Quinque and why they're better than the rest:

A Tier Quinque
The A-tier Quinque are all solid and have really good kits for mid/late-game PvP and PvE. However, you'll still want to replace them with one of the S-tier ones eventually. Here's each A-tier Quinque and why they're ranked in this tier:
Quinque | Pros/Cons |
---|---|
![]() Narukami | + Very good AoE skills and has both melee and ranged modes + One of the best Quinque for PvE – Requires a lot of skill to use – Aiming all the skills in PvP is difficult |
![]() Aus | + Easy to land combos and a lot of gap-closers in its kit + One of the best Quinque for PvP + Very simple kit and moves are hard to block – Relatively low mobility – Z skill requires good aim |
![]() Kuai | + Easy to land combos and a lot of gap-closers in its kit + Very good single target damage – Extremely low range – Fairly weak in 1vX situations |
![]() Serrate | + Easy-to-land combo and fairly good damage + One of the best rare Kagune for 1v1s + Has a V2 that makes it one of the best rare Quinque – Extremely low range and mobility |
B Tier Quinque

![]() Chi She | + Easy-to-land combo and fairly good damage + Solid AoE on most moves – Very low mobility and range – Most moves are easy to block |
![]() Yukimura | + Extremely good mobility and AoE + Has an extremely good V2 + One of the best common Quinque + One of the best Quinque for grinding in general – Damage and range are lacking compared to most legendary Quinque – You need the V2 for it to become really good |
![]() Scorpion | + Extremely good mobility and combo potential + One of the best common Quinque + Very good for 1v1s – Isn't that good before you get V2 – Lower damage compared to most legendary Quinque |
C Tier Quinque
Finally, the C tier includes the common rarity Quinque, which are the easiest to unlock but are also by far the worst ones you can use in GHOUL RE. They have much simpler crafting recipes and are more commonly found when using Blueprints.
Quinque | Pros/Cons |
---|---|
![]() Demon Yamada | + Easy-to-land combo and fairly good damage + Has solid AoE on most attacks – Extremely low range and mobility – Easily kited by anything with range |
![]() Bokusatsu | + Good combo potential + A lot of AoE attacks, though they aren't that wide – Very long skill animations – Most moves are easy to block |
![]() Kajiri | + Excellent ranged moves allow for easy kiting + One of the best Quinque for early-game PvE – No mobility – Skills are relatively easy to block – Requires very good aim |
![]() Doujima | + Good AoE and damage on most skills for a common Quinque + Extremely good mobility with V2 – Isn't that good before you get V2 – The V2 damage is still worse compared to legendaries |
How to Reroll Quinque and Kagune in GHOUL RE?

First off, Quinque cannot be rerolled in GHOUL RE. Instead, you craft Quinque using materials and blueprints, and they can also be stored, allowing you to easily switch between them. You can craft them at the CCG Building. Quinque just have a lot more flexibility than Kagune.
Kagune, on the other hand, is permanent and can not be switched that easily. Instead, you have to reroll your Kagune if you want to change it. Here are all the ways through which you can do that:
- Using Robux: You can directly purchase a 'Kagune Type Reroll' item from the Developer Products for 299 Robux to change your character's Kagune. Buying the Wipe Character item for 100 more Robux will have the same effect but also reset your character completely.
- Using Ghoul Points: As you complete Quests and Events, you'll acquire Ghoul Points. You can use them at the "Ghoul Point Exchange"' to buy a 'Kagune Type Reroll' item for 20 Ghoul Points and reroll your character's Kagune. Click on the Shop in the top left and then on Ghoul Point Exchange at the bottom of the Shop menu to access it.
Apart from the above methods, your final option would be to reset your character completely via the Perma-death event. Your character will be reset, and if you spawn as a Ghoul, you'll have a chance to unlock a new Kagune upon awakening.
And that does it for our ultimate Kagune/Quinque guide and tier list for GHOUL RE. For more information on the game, including our beginner's guide, check out the GHOUL RE section here on Pro Game Guides.
