How to fix error code 277 in Roblox

In some cases, these errors can be solved by the user and disappear in just a few seconds; in others, it's up to Roblox to come to the rescue and decipher the root of the issue. In the case of the 277 error, it seems to be a bit of both.

What is error code 277 in Roblox and how to fix

When error code 277 appears on your screen, it will likely either read "Lost connection to the game server, please reconnect," or "Please check your internet connection and try again." In most cases, you will receive this error when the internet connection you're attempting to play on is weak, or is fully not working, since Roblox requires a stable internet connection to run properly.

To fix this, I would try disconnecting and reconnecting your device to the internet, restarting your device, and then restarting your router as a whole. If none of those fix the issue, you could also try clearing your browser data/history, which will clear up all space taken up by cookies, cached images and files, and your general browsing data. When your computer gets too bogged down with stored data, any websites you try to access or games you try to play can begin experiencing issues and will load slower, which could be the case for Roblox if you're receiving this error.

The age of your device can also impact your ability to connect to Roblox—if you're attempting to play on an older device, it may be too weak to run correctly, causing it to fail to connect to Roblox's servers and ultimately crash.
