Welcome to the neighborhood of West Elm! Here you can explore the hub, decorate your very own house with various pieces of furniture, play three unique minigames, and even earn a handful of West Elm-themed avatar items totally for free. How to unlock all free items in West Elm Home Design
The list below details all of the items that have ever been available to obtain in West Elm Home Design. For a closer look at each item, continue reading past this list.

- West Elm Shoulder Plant (No longer obtainable)
- Unlocked by buying furniture and placing it in their house
- West Elm Sophisticated Glasses (No longer obtainable)
- Unlocked by playing the in-game obby
- West Elm Grey Backpack (No longer obtainable)
- Unlocked by purchasing it from the in-game store
- West Elm Designer Headphones (No longer obtainable)
- Unlocked by purchasing it from the in-game store
West Elm Winter Cap
As mentioned above, the West Elm Winter Cap is earned automatically as soon as you enter the experience. That's all there is to it!
West Elm Shoulder Plant
To earn the West Elm Shoulder Plant, players must purchase any piece of furniture from the Mid-Century section of the furniture store and place it in their house. To do this, select Go to hub from the navigation menu on the right-hand side of your screen.
At the hub, look for and enter the West Elm Home Store.
Inside of this store is a section of furniture labeled Mid-Century—approach this section and press E to open its catalog.
Because the actual piece of furniture that you purchase from this catalog doesn't matter, we chose the cheapest one listed, the $90 Small Multi Hook.
Once you've purchased at least one item, close the catalog and reopen the navigation menu on the right. From this menu, select the Go Home button to be teleported back to your house.
At your house, walk up to your mailbox and select Design from the prompts that appear. Upon doing so, a menu should open on the left. Maneuver to this menu and click on the piece of furniture that you purchased.
Doing so will place the item in front of you and allow you to move it anywhere inside or outside of your home.
As soon as you begin to move the furniture, you should automatically receive the Home Furnishing badge and corresponding West Elm Shoulder Plant item.
West Elm Sophisticated Glasses
The West Elm Sophisticated Glasses are earned as soon as you join the experience's obby minigame for the first time. To join this minigame, select the blue Minigames button that's located on the left-hand side of your screen.
Then, with the minigame menu open, select the green Play button that's underneath the running noob.
Doing so will teleport you to the start of the obby minigame. As soon as you enter, you should receive the Play a Minigame badge and corresponding West Elm Sophisticated Glasses item.
West Elm Grey Backpack and West Elm Designer Headphones
These two items, the West Elm Grey Backpack and West Elm Designer Headphones, are earned the exact same way, by purchasing them for $1,500 from the in-game store. This means that, in order to obtain both items, you'll need to rack up a total of at least $3,000. To do this quickly, we'd suggest replaying and refinishing the obby minigame. You earn money after successfully completing any of the three minigames, so you can play whichever one that you'd like, the obby is just the easiest and quickest to complete in our opinion.
Once you've reached the end of the obby, you should see a gold sphere hovering above the ground—collect this sphere and leave the obby to collect your cash!
After completing this obby five or six times, we had enough money to purchase both of the avatar items. To find these items, select the orange Special Shop button that's on the left-hand side of the screen.
With the shop menu open, select the icon of each item that you want to buy and then press Purchase.
As soon as you purchase both items, you should automatically receive their corresponding badges.
