There are a total of 8 subclasses in Fire Force Reignition. As you progress, you'll unlock different subclasses and use them to acquire new skills and abilities. If you want to find out how to get all subclasses in Fire Force Reignition, you must first reach rank 25 to unlock all subclasses. After that, you can talk to individual subclass trainers and complete their quests.
Assassin

NPC | Location | Quest |
---|---|---|
Ezio | Slums | Grip 3 people in front of him |
The assassin subclass is usually preferred by members of the White Clad. However, you can get it even if you are a part of the Fire Force. To do so, go to the Slums and make your way to the backside of the area. Here, you'll have to take a right and spot an NPC called Ezio, the assassin subclass trainer.
To complete his quest, you must grip 3 people in front of him. This is an easy quest that you can complete without any issues. Unlocking this subclass will give you the following abilities:
Skill | Description |
---|---|
Disappearing Act | - Grants invisibility for a brief time - Deals some damage to enemies |
Backstabber (passive) | - If you hit someone in the back, deal 1.3x damage |
Inevitable Return (passive) | - Your counter window is increased - Counter attacks can have a follow up in certain situations |
Berserker

NPC | Location | Quest |
---|---|---|
Igor | Wilderness near Slums | Defeat your shadow |
Berserker is a subclass that can be found in the wilderness next to the Slums area. You'll have to run through the area until you reach a cliff. Climb up the cliff and you'll spot an NPC called Igor. He will give you a quest to defeat your shadow, which appears randomly on you.
This can be a difficult fight depending on how strong you are. Since your shadow uses your abilities and skills, you'll have to watch out for the heavy-hitting attacks. Once you defeat it, you can unlock the berserker subclass with the following abilities.
Skill | Description |
---|---|
Heavy Stomp | - Get the armored effect - Ragdoll all enemies in vicinity |
Battle Cry | - Reduce enemy damage by 60% |
Gank Buff (passive) | - Gain buffs to your stats depending on how many people are around you |
Priest

NPC | Location | Quest |
---|---|---|
Galen | Fire Force HQ | Kill 10 Infernals |
The priest subclass trainer can be found in the Fire Force HQ next to a large tower. While his quest seems difficult, you'll complete it in no time if you progress through the game. After killing 10 Infernals, you can become a priest.
This is a utility/support subclass as it allows you to heal and protect either yourself or other players. Here are the abilities for the priest:
Skill | Description |
---|---|
Purify | - Burst of healing |
Safeguard | - Heal one player by 30% |
Latom (passive) | - Increase damage to infernal enemies |
Reaper

Jalen | Reaper Boss opening | Defeat the Blood Reaper |
From the Fire Force HQ, go into the wilderness and take a sharp right. From here, keep taking the path on the right until you reach a cave. Here, you'll find Jalen standing outside the Reaper boss opening area.
To complete his quest, you have to defeat the Blood Reaper, which is located inside the opening area. This is one of the best subclasses for PvP as it gives you the following abilities.
Skill | Description |
---|---|
Crimson Benefits | - When you grip an enemy, spawn a healing orb |
Grand Design (passive) | - If you fall below 50% HP, increase damage and health regen by 10% |
Death's Touch | - Grab an enemy, steal their health and throw them away to ragdoll |
Engineer

NPC | Location | Quest |
---|---|---|
Volcano | Desert | Fix various machines |
From the Fire Force HQ (or areas where you can fast travel from), go to the desert and head to an NPC called Volcano. He is next to the area where you fast travel. Talking to him will give you the quest to find various machines hidden in the desert/wilderness.
Completing his quest will allow you to become a mechanic/engineer. This subclass has strong skills, especially if you work with a priest or windwalker. Here are all the skills for the mechanic.
Skill | Description |
---|---|
Deploy Turret | - Place a turret to damage nearby players |
Extinguisher Grenade | - Throw a grenade to silence the abilities of players |
Steam Kit (passive) | - Healing increased by 30% |
Windwalker

NPC | Location | Quest |
---|---|---|
Gale | Desert Raid | Find 20 Desert Gems |
Gale can be found in the area where the desert raid takes place. After talking to him, you need to find 20 desert gems and hand them back to Gale. This will give you the Windwalker subclass that has strong displacing abilities. They are useful against multiple enemies as they deal AoE damage. Here are all the abilities for the Windwalker subclass:
Skill | Description |
---|---|
Wind Tornado | - Send a tornado at your enemies |
One With the Wind (passive) | - The evasive dodge has an extra ability to knock enemies in your proximity |
Wind Hop (passive) | - Summon a tornado with M1 attack |
Partial Infernalization

NPC | Location | Quest |
---|---|---|
Hura | Forest near Asakusa | Defeat 4 bosses |
Just outside the graveyard, you can find Hura in the wilderness. He will give you a quest to defeat 4 bosses to unlock the partial infernalization subclass. This quest can be a bit difficult as some of the bosses are strong and will take some time to beat. This class gives you the following skills.
Skill | Description |
---|---|
Partial Transformation | - Slightly increase all stats |
Guillotine | - Knock over your enemy and hit them with a blast of heat |
Infernalized Defense (passive) | - Increase your defense stats slightly |
Scientist

NPC | Location | Quest |

Issac | White Clad sewers | Find a bug |
Finally, the scientist subclass can be unlocked by interacting with Issac in the Sewers and completing his quest. He will ask you to find a bug and give it back to him. This bug can be found in the wilderness. While the quest is simple, you have to travel a lot to complete it. After unlocking the subclass, you can gain the following abilities:
Skill | Description |
---|---|
Bug Toss | - Throw a bug to deal damage and apply burn |
True Form | - Changes your form and based on the variant, you'll get additional abilities. |
Compound Eyes (passive) | - Increases dodge frames |
How to Upgrade Subclasses
You can further upgrade these subclasses when you reach rank 40. After reaching that level, talk to the respective subclass trainer and upgrade. Doing so will enhance the current abilities and effectiveness of the subclass.
