Dark Determination is an Edict in Bizarre Lineage that provides some handy buffs to your character for a limited time. Think of it as entering a heightened state for a short amount of time. It can be really useful for PvP and boss fights, especially when you’re running low on health and feel you’re cornered. How to Get Dark Determination in Bizarre Lineage
To get Dark Determination in Bizarre Lineage, you need to talk to the Determination NPC and complete all of their quests. The Determination NPC is located near Bus Stop #14, and here’s how you can find them easily:
- Go to any Bus Stop and travel to Bus Stop #14.
- From there, go behind the bus top and then head right.
- Once you see lamp posts on your left, follow them, and you’ll find the Determination NPC standing at the base of a boulder.
Once you talk to him and go through a few dialogues, he’ll show you a list of all the quests you have to complete to obtain Dark Determination in Bizarre Lineage. See the table below for a full list of the quests and their requirements:

Make sure you talk to the Determination NPC first before attempting to complete these requirements. If you don’t, your progress will not get recorded, and you’ll not get Dark Determination.

How to Upgrade Dark Determination in Bizarre Lineage
To upgrade your Dark Determination tier, you’ll have to talk to the Arch Mage NPC at the TG Hospital. Fast travel to Bus Stop #10 and you’ll see the huge TG Hospital building behind it. Go inside the building to find the Arch Mage NPC (also called the Prestige NPC).
Talk to him and open the Prestige Shop. You’ll see the Edicts section there. Click on it and purchase Dark Determination Upgrade. Each upgrade you buy will increase the Dark Determination’s tier by 1.

Yes, Dark Determination is currently bugged in Bizarre Lineage. The quest progress doesn’t get tracked, which means you can’t obtain Dark Determination currently. However, the devs are working on fixing it, and it will be fixed soon.
When active, Bizarre Lineage will activate multiple buffs for your character, including Strength, Health, Power, and Destructive Power for up to 15 seconds. Once the duration is over, these buffs will be removed, and your character will face similar debuffs for a short period of time.
The Bloodlust Perk can be obtained from the Prestige Shop for 5 Prestige Shards. You can access the Prestige Shop by talking to the Arch Mage NPC at the TG Hospital (behind Bus Stop #10).
