In the Cursed Event Update, the developers have added two new items to the base game called Rod of Time and an Hourglass Boat. Both of these are craftable items that require multiple resources and materials to make them. So, here is a quick guide to getting the mentioned resources for these items and acquiring the items.
How to get the Rod of Time in Fisch
As mentioned earlier, you can get the Rod of Time in Fisch through crafting using the following materials.
- x1 Timeless Threading
- x1 1000-Year-Old Wood
- x1 Ethereal Glass
- x1 Sand of Time
- x1 Mythical Essence
All of the above materials can be obtained as a drop reward for staying in the AFK Mode. Yes, the Fisch developers have added the AFK feature, and you can access/use this feature by reaching the lighthouse POI opposite the Moosewood on GPS (230, 140, 44). Here, you can enter the cave to enter the AFK mode. For each minute you stay in the AFK mode, you will get random rewards like materials, money, and other resources. So, stay in the mode to get the above-mentioned materials as random rewards.
Once you collect every one of them, you can get out of the cave and interact with the Rod of Time Shilloutte to craft one. Remember, it will take some time to gather all the materials. So, be patient and leave your character in the AFK mode whenever you go out to school, college, or work.

If you ask me, the Rod of Time is a very decent rod that is suitable for beginners to catch the bestiary in the initial few islands like Forsaken Shores, Snowcap Island, and Moosewood.
How to get the Hourglass Boat in Fisch
You can craft the Hourglass Boat using the following materials.
- x2 1000-Year-Old Wood
- x1 Eternal Fuel
- x1 Hourglass Hull
- x1 Mythical Essence
Similar to the Rod of Time, the materials for the Hourglass Boat are also acquired from the AFK Mine Cave. So, stay there and grind the materials to craft the Hourglass Boat.
