How to get Scurvy Rod in Fisch (Location)

The Depths Expansion update marked the addition of a new rod in Fisch known as Scurvy. As is tradition, you won't be able to use it immediately as it's hidden at a certain location. So, without further ado, here's how to get Scurvy Rod in Fisch.

Where to find Scurvy Rod in Fisch - Jack Marrow NPC Location

Scurvy Rod is located on Forsaken Shores island, right next to the Jack Marrow NPC in the cave. The rod costs 50,000C$, and its exact coordinates are (-2825, 215, 1517). To easily track it, I suggest purchasing the GPS item for 100C$, which is located on the chair right next to the pond in Moosewood.

Once you're at the location, you can purchase the Scurvy Rod for the aforementioned price, and it will automatically be added to your inventory.

Here's a brief overview of the stats the Scurvy Rod brings to the table:

• Lure Speed: 15%
• Luck: 50%
• Control: 0
• Resilience: 15%
• Max Kg: 2,000kg

Unfortunately, unlike many other rods, Scurvy doesn't have a passive ability which means it doesn't provide any additional buff while fishing.

Is the Scurvy Rod good - Should I buy it?

The Scurvy Rod offers decent luck and a lure speed boost, making it a solid all-around fishing rod. However, I don’t recommend purchasing it due to its lack of passive ability. Instead, the Midas Rod is a superior option at the same price point.

It provides a 60% increased chance to catch Midas, which can be sold at twice the normal price. Given this, the Midas Rod is undoubtedly the better investment. In simple words, Scurvy is an expensive rod and not ideal if your main goal is to farm cash in the game.
