To answer the burning question, you can find the Alarm Clock on the reception desk at Door 49. So, right before entering Door 50, collect the item. The Alarm Clock is very effective in dealing with the Figure Monster in the Library.

Now that you have collected the Alarm Clock in Doors Floor 2, it is time to use it inside the game. So, what is the use of an alarm clock in Doors? Well, the item is used for distraction! Yes, you can wind up the clock using the key at the back and place it in strategic positions to lure monsters to its location. As the monsters are distracted by it, you can sneak by undetected.

So, use the item to cross the roaming Figure inside the library in Door 50. Wind up the key and place the item at the center of the main library hallway while you hide. Once the alarm goes off in 10 seconds, the figurine will run toward the alarm clock, and you can slowly get past the Figure by moving around the various book racks on the right side of the library. This will allow you to get to the other side of the room to solve the library room puzzle.
