Step 1: Obtain the Red Belt

To unlock the crafting recipe of the Dragonstorm gun, you must first obtain the Red Belt. This accessory is available only at the Dojo Trainer, who can be reached on the Hydra Island via the Third Sea. This is one of the four NPCs residing in the Dragon Dojo. The other three are Uzoth, Dragon Wizard, and Dragon Hunter. The latter one will unlock the weapon for you in the end.

But first, speak to the Dojo Trainer and complete the seventh quest, "Rumbling Waters." This quest is a Sea Event, which requires you to defeat three Sea Beasts. These creatures spawn on any of the six Sea Danger Levels in the Third Sea. Here's how you can defeat them:

  • The event is triggered by the heavy rainfall, and the three beasts will emerge from the sea, which happens every 2-5 minutes.
  • Try to approach the battle with other players, as it's very hard to defeat them on your own.
  • But note that the higher the number of players attempting to take them down, the stronger they get.
  • The best way to attack a Sea Beast is from behind, using such fruits as Magma V2, Flame, Venom, Blizzard, Sound, Ice, or Dough.

Once all three Sea Beasts are defeated, you need to go back to the Dojo Trainer, who will reward you with the Red Belt, which grants:

  • +12% Melee Damage
  • +60% Movement Speed

Step 2: Craft the Dragonstorm

As a proud owner of the Red Belt, you can now speak to the Dragon Hunter at the Dragon Dojo. You'll unlock the crafting recipe and will be able to finally craft the Dragonstorm gun using the following materials:

  • 2x Dragon Egg
  • 10x Dinosaur Bone
  • 5x Dragon Scale
  • 30x Blaze Ember

If you wish to upgrade the weapon, then you must talk to the Blacksmith NPC at the Pirate Village, Kingdom of Rose, or Port Town. An upgrade, which adds 6% extra damage to its firepower, will cost you the following materials:

  • 1x Dark Fragment
  • 15x Dragon Scale
  • 10x Magma Ore

You'll have one of the best weapons in the game, which has only one drawback. It can't hurt players who use Rubber fruit, as it has natural immunity to all gun attacks. But it's extremely effective against all other types of enemies, so it's definitely worth crafting it.
