How to Get & Use the Megaphone in Arsenal

This article is over 4 years old and may contain outdated information

We're taking a look at what you need to do to get the megaphone emote in Arsenal! This is an interesting little item that will allow you to play custom sounds from a variety of options in the Roblox audio library. It's a bit confusing to get working, so we've also got information on how to use and even mute it if someone is annoying you with it!

How to Get the Megaphone

The megaphone can be obtained in two different ways! One is that you can purchase it directly from the daily shop. Each day the shop rotates in new items which can be bought with in-game currency. The money can be obtained by playing games and completing quests. The quests can be found in the main menu under the little flag icon, and you are given a new one each day.

If you don't like one of the quests, you can use the X to delete it but you won't get a new quest to replace it until the next day. This is more for if your quests have stacked up and you don't have any room for new ones. The megaphone will set you back 1,800 BattleBucks, which can take a while to collect if you aren't completing quests.

The second way to get one is a bit more random, but is how I got it so it is possible. Go to the shop and then hit the Cases option at the top of the menu. There's three different cases you can buy, the one you want is the Flair Case. It currently costs 600 BattleBucks for each but you have a random chance to obtain a Kill Effect, Emote, or Announcer. The megaphone is an emote, so that's what you'd be hoping to get. It's much better to just save your BattleBucks if you really want the megaphone because that's the guaranteed method of getting it!

How to Use the Megaphone

To use the megaphone, you will first need to equip it into your emotes slots. At the main menu, hit the Locker option and you will see a bunch of emote slots at the bottom of this area:

Click one of the empty boxes or one of the emotes you no longer want to use and select the megaphone option! You will also notice once you've selected the megaphone that you can now add a Megaphone Sound ID. This will play whatever sound you select from the Roblox sound library. To do this you need to go into Roblox and find the audio library which can access via this link.

Select one of the sounds you'd like to play via the megaphone and look at the link. It will look like the following:

I have bolded the part you need to copy which is the ID number for that particular sound. Copy that number and paste it into the spot that says "Insert ID Here" in Arsenal. Hit enter or click on the green arrow next to that field to verify your selection.

Once you're in game on PC you can hit the G key or hit the face icon on mobile and then the number/option that matches with the Megaphone emote. It will then play whatever sound you've selected in the game!

How to Mute the Megaphone

If you're tired of hearing the megaphone while you're playing the game there is a way you can mute it! You just need to go into your settings while you are at the main menu which is the little gear button below the Shop option. Hit the Control option and then check the Streamer Mode box. This should remove any music being played through the Megaphone.
