Private servers can be very tempting for Roblox players: they won't have to deal with PvP (unless its something like Peroxide's private arenas), everything they loot is for themselves, and they can grind up level easily in a short time. The process can be a little confusing if being done on the Xbox, but it's still possible. Playing Roblox on console is becoming more and more popular, so here is how you can enjoy a private server from your Xbox.
How to get in a private Roblox server on Xbox
Getting into a private server on Roblox on Xbox is rather easy. All you have to do is find the friend on Xbox and join their experience. Here is how this is done:
- Load up Roblox on Xbox
- Open up the Friends tab
- Find a friend with a private server going
- Click "Join Experience"

How to start a private Roblox server on Xbox
If your friends don't already have a private server loaded up, you can still start your own private server; it just takes a couple of extra steps. In order to do this, you're going to need another device that's compatible with Roblox (most likely a laptop or phone).
Creating a private server on an Xbox is actually impossible, but you can create a new alternate account on a phone or PC and then use that to get your Xbox account in. Here is how to do this:
- Open up Roblox on phone or PC
- Create new account with alternate name
- Go to a specific Roblox game page
- Select "Create Private Server"
- Go to configure
- Make sure "Friends Allowed" is on
- Start up the game
- Go to your Xbox and add the alternate as your friend
- Find the alternate on the Friends List and click Join Experience
