How to Unlock the Fish Pond in Roblox Abyss
To unlock the Fish Pond in Roblox Abyss, you will have to complete a short setup. Firstly, you will have to talk to an NPC called The Guy. He can be found in the Forgotten Dome, standing underneath a tree right next to David's Tube Shop. Once you do, he will tell you that he can only let you inside the Fish Pond area once you have reached Level 15. If you have not reached it, the fastest method we recommend is to simply hunt the starting fish scattered all over Forgotten Deep.
Now that you have reached level 15, talk to The Guy again and he will tell you that he has made the Fish Pond accessible by using the Teleporter. More details on how to fix the Teleporter itself can be found in this guide. Thankfully, teleporting to the Fish Pond is free, unlike to all other locations in the playable area. That's it, you have succeeded in unlocking the Fish Pond.
How to Use the Fish Pond in Roblox Abyss
The main point of the Fish Pond in Abyss is that, just like every other player that unlocks it, you will get an aquarium to place your fish in. Those fish will then start producing roe over time, which you can then harvest and sell for a profit. The value of the roe directly corresponds to the rarity and value of the fish you have placed inside the pond, and thus we highly recommend that you put inside only the best fish you have managed to catch, as opposed to outright selling them to the Kraken, as this can make you much more money in the long run.
Important information: The roe from better fish will take much longer to spawn, however you can speed this process up by adding in Sea Feed.
The Sea Feed is sold at the blue stand with the same name, which is handled by the Johnathan NPC. The more expensive feeds such as Worm Feed will either reduce the roe spawn time by more than the cheaper ones, or last longer compared to them. Always keep an eye out for them as the shop offers reset every 15 minutes.
The roe you have harvested can be sold at The Guy's Sell Stand, which is located in the central area of the Fish Pond along with other stands, recognizable by the green roof it boasts.
How to Upgrade the Fish Pond in Roblox Abyss
The Fish Pond can be upgraded is several ways, and we have listed all of them:
- Fish Capacity: Increases the maximum capacity of your fish pond, allowing you to acquire more roe, and in turn more cash
- Roe Storage: Increases the maximum roe storage capacity, which is extremely important as the roe continues to spawn even when you are offline
- Decoration: Increases the speed at which the fish produce roe
The upgrade stand is also located in the central area of the Fish Pond, and is handled by an NPC called Bobert. His stand is painted in distinctive yellow colors and should thus be easy to spot.
Important information: The fish pond upgrades will be quite expensive for new players, and are not worth getting as opposed to better Tubes and Guns, which will allow you to reach new depths, hunt rarer fish and make progress in general, all of which will unlock you new Quests and earn you much more money.

All those who enjoy simply catching fish as opposed to traveling long distances will be happy about this one. Namely, a Quest Board has been added to all main areas inside Abyss. On it you will discover quests which will simply have you catch fish that can be found locally. There are four quests per board and they vary in difficulty, with the harder ones obviously bringing you more profit. Just keep in mind that once you have caught the required fish you will have to come to the quest boar to redeem your reward as opposed to it being given to you automatically. We also highly suggest doing them in the most recent area you have discovered, as they will reward you with substantially more money.
