Roblox The Hatch Release Date

Roblox the Hatch goes live on July 2, 2025 at 10AM PT / 7 PM CET. The event lasts for a total of 10 days until July 12, 2025 and includes hundreds of experiences. Make sure you log in on time and participate in the event if you want to get exclusive Hatch Egg Hunt rewards.

What is the Hatch Hub?

The Hatch Hub is the official Roblox experience through which you will get to join other games on the platform, collect eggs and get rewards. You can only join the Egg Hunt by going through the Hub first, so make sure to do that or you won't be seeing any Eggs around. The Hub is open even before the event starts, but there isn't anything you can do inside, other than explore the sunny beach and listen to the waves.

How to Get Eggs in the Hatch Egg Hunt 2025

  • Hatch Egg Hunt inventory menu
  • Hatch Egg Hunt Fast Travel Map

There are a 100 Eggs which you can get throughout the game, divided into 10 Biomes. You get them through multiple ways, either by playing the games, by completing quests, through trading and merging. Each Biome on the Map (which you can access through the Fast Travel Button) has 10 Eggs which you can acquire. Here's the list of all Biomes and their Eggs which you can explore during the event:

  • Connection
  • Light
  • Darkness
  • Fire
  • Earth
  • Water
  • Energy
  • Time
  • Ice
  • Air

While you do need 10 Eggs, there are 42 Games which you can access through the large Portal in a Biome where you can collect them. The Eggs can have Duplicates and they are RNG. That means you can get seven Common Eggs of Respect and zero Mythic Eggs of the Aurorch. Speaking of Common and Mythic, all eggs in each biome are separated into three categories Common (5), Primal (4), and Mythic (1).

How to Merge Eggs in the Egg Hunt 2025

To Merge Eggs in the Egg Hunt, you have to go to the Merging building. You'll see a sign of two eggs merging together on it (like a Venn Diagram). Go inside, and if you have lower rarity Egg duplicates, you'll be able to merge them into higher rarity Eggs. This is also RNG, so good luck when doing it. Considering there is a limited number of games (42 in each section, which isn't a small number), you may also need to look into trading.

How to Trade Eggs in the Egg Hunt Hatch Event

To Trade Eggs in the Hatch Egg Hunt, you have to first head over to the Trading Station building. Once inside, you can send a message in the Hub chat checking if anyone else has an Egg that you need and offering what you have. The community has so far been extremely friendly, so you'll usually have someone ready to share with you (sometimes even more than one Egg).

You can trade up to 5 Eggs, but your trading partner does not need to share the same amount of Eggs with you. Just discuss what you want, and it should be easy from there. If you're unlucky and keep getting duplicates, this is a pretty quick way to get what you need.
