In the latest update of Sol's RNG, the developers have added the fishing mechanics to the base game. This was one of the most requested features by the community over a long period, and introduces a new way of getting Auras in the game apart from rolling or crafting. So, if you are a returning or a completely new player, here is a detailed guide about the fishing mechanics in Sol's RNG to clear all your doubts.
How to fish in Sol's RNG
You can automatically start fishing in Sol's RNG by pressing the Fish button while standing adjacent to or near the Ocean area. The Ocean is present on all the edges or coastal regions of the map, and you will get an indication to fish as you reach the trigger line. Additionally, there is no requirement to craft a fishing rod or bait to catch fish.

Once you start fishing, you will see some dialogues on your screen, and then a reeling bar will appear. Similar to most games, just press your LMB to keep the white marker within the green line to catch the fish.
How to catch rare fish in Sol's RNG
In order to catch rare and high-rarity fish, you must try to fish in areas with the Normal or Hard difficulty tag. Yes, if you move along the coast of the map, you will find various locations with these tags. Simply fish in a corner with these tags to catch better fish with more weight.
