Sword Fantasy Controls & User Interface

Given the number of bars and buttons on the screen, Sword Fantasy's HUD and controls can be intimidating initially, but they are fairly easy to understand, and you'll be able to pick them up in no time. Here are the are the controls for the game:

RSkill 2

When you first start, you must equip the base sword in your inventory by hitting B on your keyboard, clicking on the sword, and clicking on Equip Right. With this, you can now start taking down boars. If the base sword is not cutting out for you, look at our Sword Fantasy Codes post, which you can use to get Gems to buy new swords. As for HUD, these are the five bars you need to keep an eye on when playing the game:

  • Experience (EXP): Whenever you defeat any entity, you get experience points that help you level up.
  • Health (HP): This is the green bar at the top left corner of your screen. It increases or decreases depending on the armor you are wearing.
  • Stamina (ST): The stamina bar sits right under HP and is used for dashing and skills. It regenerates slowly, so use it carefully.
  • Sturdiness: Sturdiness represents the damage you can dish out before getting stunned. It builds up with every hit you land, stuns you at 100%, and goes down gradually when the weapon is not used, essentially acting as a cooldown.
  • Mastery: Similar to EXP, you also get Mastery Points when you kill a mob. As your Mastery level increases, you unlock new weapon skills.

Best Stats to Max out in Sword Fantasy

Vitality is easily the best stat you should max out in Sword Fantasy. It increases your HP and boosts the regeneration rate for both health and stamina. You should also try to max out Strength, which helps with Sturdiness regeneration. Dexterity should be next, followed by Wisdom.

All NPCs in Sword Fantasy

There are only three NPCs in Sword Fantasy, all located at Spawn in Wild Forest. They act as a shop for armor, weapons, and crystals. Note that while you can buy an item that's more than your current level, you can only equip it once you are at that level. For example, if you are level 18, you can buy level 20 armor but only wear it when you hit level 20.

The crystal NPC sells Fast Travel and Rebirth crystals. You can use the former to teleport around the map quickly and not reset your stats when you die.

How to Fast Travel in Sword Fantasy

To Fast travel in the game, you only need to find the fast travel point and click on the location you want to go to. You can only teleport to the spawn point for free, while fast traveling to other locations costs one Fast Travel crystal.

All Dungeon Locations in Sword Fantasy

There are only two dungeons in Sword Fantasy: BroodMother and Morvax, and here's how you can get to them.

BroodMother Dungeon

The BroodMother dungeon is located behind a huge mountain door at the end of Spider Cave. To get to Spider Cave, follow the path from spawn and take, and soon, you will come across mining equipment and spider webs along the walls and on the ground. To enter the dungeon, defeat Spider Boss to obtain the Key of Whispering Threads. Getting the key can take some time as it only has a 3% chance of dropping.

Morvax Dungeon

In Sword Fantasy, Morvax's dungeon is located in the castle above the Bee Forest. To get there, take the first right as soon you enter the forest and go through the cave. Next, climb the mountain, find the bridge that connects to the castle, and cross it to reach the dungeon.

Like BroodMother, you also need a key to enter the dungeon, which you can get by defeating the Crab Boss. Getting to Morvax can be confusing as the castle is huge. Just follow the red carpet to ensure you're on the right path.

How to Level up and get Gems Fast in Sword Fantasy

The best way to level up in Sword Fantasy is by farming XP in dungeons. Both BroodMother's and Morvax's dungeons have high-level mobs that when defeated, reward you with hundreds, if not thousands, of XP. As for Gems, you can get them by either selling your old gear and mob drops to the NPCs at spawn or by redeeming codes. Codes also offer XP potions that can boost the amount of XP you can get.
