What is Dark Matter?

In Pet Simulator X, all of the pets follow a tier system. This system places Regular pets at the bottom, Golden pets slightly above Regular pets, Rainbow pets in the middle, and Dark Matter pets at the top, towering above all else. To put it simply, Dark Matter is a magic ability that raises the strength, power, and effectiveness of any pet that it's given to. The list below showcases the stats of each pet class in comparison to Regular pets.

  • Golden pets = 3x better than Regular pets
  • Rainbow pets = 7x better than Regular pets
  • Dark Matter pets = 15x to 20x better than Regular pets

How to get Dark Matter pets?

Unfortunately to some, Dark Matter pets can only be created inside of the Dark Tech area of Tech World. This means that players looking to expand their pet collection will need at least 7.5 billion Tech Coins in their possession in order to unlock the Dark Tech door. Once you've reached the Dark Tech area, simply locate the large, purple Dark Matter Machine and approach it. Upon doing so, you will be prompted to press E to open the Dark Matter Machine's menu.

To begin transforming your pets, locate and select the ones that you'd like to use from your inventory. Keep in mind, however, that the Dark Matter Machine only accepts Rainbow pets, so you'll need to ensure that you have at least one Rainbow pet before entering. Once you've found the Rainbow pets that you'd like to transform, press Convert.

Your pets will now begin the Dark Matter transformation process! If you'd like to bypass the wait time for this process, which could range anywhere between 30 minutes to five days, you can pay a handful of Robux to do so. Inside of the Dark Matter menu, look for the View button and select it. From the View menu, click the Get Instantly button to purchase or use Robux and skip the transformation time restraint.

The full breakdown of the Dark Matter Machine's costs can be found in the table below:
