Why do I look like a noob in every Roblox game?
At the time of this article's publication, 1pm CT on Thursday May 4, 2023, the Roblox Status website is reporting an "Active Incident" that's effecting players around the globe. As the website states, this incident is resulting in "default Avatar appearance for many users;" in other words, many players are loading into experiences with the classic "noob" look, rather than their normal avatar. The Avatar Editor is currently experiencing issues as well, with many players blocked from even accessing it.
This issue seems to have started early Thursday morning and is currently under investigation by Roblox's development and support teams. If you're currently running into avatar-related problems, rest assured that Roblox is doing everything it can to get the platform back up and running, and that the problem isn't coming from your end!
Check back with the Roblox Status website often to stay in the know about Roblox's latest progress. If the issues persist on your account after Roblox has reported a fix, you may need to reach out to Roblox support.
