Dragon Mummy is one of many bosses you can encounter in Rune Factory 5. It lives in the Atohl’s End: Manor and has a chance to drop many rare items, including Crystal Fragment and Immortal Dragon Claws. Taming it will not get it to produce the items you need, but you will get an amazing monster to aid you in your adventures.
Still, this begs the question: can you tame it? The answer, sadly, is no. Dragon Mummy is too aggressive and too tall to fit in a barn. Luckily, it’s easy enough to beat at high levels, so you can farm for the items you need.
Fortunately, Dragon Mummy is only one of few bosses that can’t be coerced into a friendship. Fun-sized monsters like the Nine-Tailed Fox and Cerberus can be tamed with the right items.

To tame a boss monster, brush it until the music note icon stops appearing above its head. Then, repeatedly offer it an item it likes until it comes with you. Make sure there’s an open space in one of your barns!
