How to get the Wood Talisman in Sifu

To get the Wood Talisman in Sifu, you need to have defeated the Yang, the final boss, and have finished Sifu. Then take on Fajar, the Botanist, once more, but this time show him mercy. You need to spare his life.

It has to be in the second phase of the fight, in the bamboo forest, to do this. Start filling up the structure meter to break his defenses. You do not want to deal damage in this fight, so only parry and counter. The main thing you need to focus on is not to perform a takedown when he breaks. What you must do is wait for him to recover, then once again parry and counter until his structure meter is full.

Once this happens, get up close to him, and the option to spare him will appear. Quickly press the button prompt that appears, as if you're too slow, he'll recover, and you have to break him again. You will walk away with the Wood Talisman if you manage in time, and earn the Muk Yan Master trophy.
