How to unlock the Avenue Door shortcut in The Squats in Sifu?

The first shortcut.

You can reasonably complete the Squats level of Sifu in 10 to 15 minutes. This can only be done if you've already finished the level, but this is useful if you're trying to get through it again for the XP of beating The Bonatist.

In order to unlock the avenue door, proceed as normal through the level until you reach the locked door with the cell. This door needs a key to open, so you have to go through the door on the left. Inside this room will be two mini-bosses. The two enemies are extremely challenging, but it becomes a lot easier if you jump over the table during your fight.

This is a simple strategy if you have any trouble:

  • Slide over the table until you bump into one of them.
  • An excellent indicator is if the person you bump into stumbles backward.
  • You need to hit that opponent three times.
  • Once again, slide over the table until you bump into one.

Once these two are defeated, you have the key. You need to beat the level and start over to unlock the avenue door.

As you begin this level, you'll jump over a fence, beat up two random bad guys, and go through another door. It is possible to climb the stairs, but the door leading into the avenue is on the first floor. Using this method, you can unlock 16 out of 17 secrets on this level.
